Today we are going to be talking about knowing your device because I’ve dealt with a good amount of customers that didn’t know what to do with their device when something either fails, or doesn’t work at one point.
When you open a device or the vapor store operator opens the device to teach you how it works and how to operate it, it’s very important to pay attention and get every detail you need to maintain it. The best way to get to know your device is not only to have the store operator teach you and read the manual on it but to also look online for reviews and maintenance videos. It is important to do a little research on your devices not only to help you when or if something happens, but so you can either replace or improve aspects of your vaping experience. When people vape sub-ohm devices, the majority do an extensive amount of research because with these devices they are also called mods for their opportunity to be modified and changed to enhance their experience of vape and performance. Even with devices that are regulated and not enhance-able in the internal wiring the device can have intricate aspects that can be changed with research and development.
An example that can help with the understanding of this concept is this, “I just purchased this device and for some reason it doesn’t fire the vapor properly. When I don’t have a store to go to, I went onto the internet. I saw that when my tank leaks a little bit of eliquid out of the bottom sometimes it gets into the 510 connection between the connection of the battery and the tank and it doesn’t connect properly. So after i learned that I took my device apart and noticed there indeed was some ejuice on my connection and cleaned it with a dry paper towel as well as some other connection points. After ensuring everything looked the way it came I put my device back together and went to take a hit and boom! It worked again.” This sometimes is the most prominent problem with your devices connectivity, but there could also be hidden aspects you need to know and that’s why the internet and blogs are so important. Another good piece of information one should know is how to charge their device. With all the different ways there are to charge our vapor devices; research will tell you the best way to charge your device! For example: When using estick devices and devices with micro USB inputs it is important to charge through the wall and not the computer because although it has a USB end port sometimes the battery charging port does not put out the same power as the wall port.
When it comes to devices that are optional external battery charging or in line charging it’s generally most important to charge externally in a battery bay charger because the possibility of battery venting which can be dangerous if you aren’t around. These are all great examples of popular problems found in the vape community and without the research worse things than broken devices can happen and if you didn’t research, it could happen to you.
